Guanabana Canasto bag L Maya Black

Guanabana combines trendy and colorful designs, with a traditional handicraft like baskets to create a very special accessory. The baskets are hand made by artisans using the technique of weaving with iraca, typical of the Colombian tradition. The iraca, or toquilla straw, is a natural fiber that comes from the Carludovica palmata plant. From the leaves of this plant, the artisans obtain fine strips that are then dyed and woven by hand to create the baskets.
