ICONS by Objet Trouvé
Iconic pieces, limited and exclusive to Objet Trouvé. The Icons collection comes from the desire of Objet Trouvé’s founders Josje and Floor to create timeless items in collaboration with their favorite designers. The collection consists of iconic pieces that are nostalgic and personal to them.
ICONS III Objet Trouvé x Can Pep Rey
Floor & Josje were born in a family with strong Rotterdam and maritime roots. Inspired by memories of a childhood surrounded by the dark blue waters in combination with the ‘je ne sais quoi’ of the French, they joined forces with long loved brand Can Pep Rey. Together with founders Paul and Lea they designed a timeless collection of wardrobe staples. This collection, part of the ICONS series, their third collaboration, is called NAVY. Existing of three timeless pieces, a button down rib top, relaxed pantalon and the perfect ribbed sweater. All in their own tint of navy, which carries a nostalgia and sophistication for the sisters. Together they form a classic uniform one can not miss in its wardrobe.
ICONS II Objet Trouvé x Martine Viergever
What’s your lucky charm? Josje: “Our grandmother had a charm bracelet, on each charm the name of her beloved grandchildren. These were her lucky charms. We want to hold on to this family tradition with our Iconic Martine Viergever x Objet Trouvé charm jewelry. Wearing golden miniatures of our most precious Objet Trouvé pieces close to us. Our inherited passion for beautiful items translated to our own lucky charms”.
ICONS I Objet Trouvé x Michel Vivien
Hermine pump & Marcia loafer
Josje: “The pump, a model in off-white with a pointed heart-shaped nose, was inspired by the classic movie Pretty Woman. In our younger years we watched this movie on repeat, often re-enacting entire scenes. This ‘Iconic’ piece refers to the pump that Julia Roberts wears in that famous scene on the polo field. Next to the pump, we worked together with Michel Vivien to create a timeless loafer. These loafers are equivalent to oversized shirts in a woman’s wardrobe. Originally designed for men, but on a woman just very sexy and feminine.”
